Advising
A lot of companies can build stuff. Most can’t tell you what, how and why to build in a language that you can easily understand. We love the Internet and we have more than 16 years of experience with creating, developing and managing software for it for all sorts of people and situations. That’s why we think we might have something worthwhile to share with you in an engaging and meaningful way.
Designing
Great design is not just about colors, typography and whites spaces. It’s about the whole user experience. We’ve been building usable apps since before even UX existed as a two letter acronym. That’s why we think we know a thing or two about designing awesome user experiences.
Building
We love building stuff. We get a kick out of building apps that improves people’s lives and bottom lines.
Improving
We love improving stuff. We know that small changes can have big effects. We can help you enhance the usability, productivity and versatility of your existing software. In short; We can make your software suck less.
Testing
We love testing stuff. Because we know that you want to know how your software performs under peak performance before, not when it hits and because we can’t think of a better way of measuring your software’s efficiency than sticking some probes in it and extracting some real life data and simultaneously listening to real people about their real situation and their real and uncut experiences using your software.
Managing
We love managing software projects. Some call it outsourcing; We think of it as delegating. You can safely delegate the the complete project organization and management to us. We consider ourself a natural extension of your organization – sans the politics.
We’ll handpick the project members, assemble and manage the project organization needed to solve your specific tasks. In us you’ll have a single point of contact and accountability for the project.
We do not work with outsourcing farms overseas. We only work with contractors that we know will fight as hard for you as we will. We only contract peer reviewed specialists and companies based on their previous merits and current standings; people that really love what they do – and only on your approval.
If you already have a project team in place but no time or resources available to manage it we will readily step in and manage that project for you too. We’re sociable. Try us.
Rescuing
Because sometimes your software project is getting more uncomfortable by the day. Sometimes disagreements within the project organization are blocking progress. Sometimes your contractor turned out to be the wrong choice. Sometimes it’s just not working out as expected. Sometimes you’re burning through budgets with no completion in sight. It’s OK. It happens. We know. We’ve been there ourselves. We understand.
We’ve seen a software project or two go south before and we know from our own experiences which mistakes not to make and how to turn it around when they happen. We can step in on your behalf and help you find ways to regain control and complete or exit your troublesome software project with grace.
Consider us your diplomat in the field.
Optimizing
We think there’s more to this than extra BS-bingo points. Because sometimes you find yourself forced to use sucky software in your organization that is either outdated or seemingly designed with another user and company than yours in mind. Because sometimes tedious manual work can easily be replaced by automated software processes.
We can help your organization save time and money by optimizing your business processes and hopefully help relieving some of the daily headaches you and your employees are subjected to by your current sucking software.
Vetting
We know that you know that we know and love our stuff. We know what not to do, because we’ve already done that too. We’ve put the hours in and we’d love to share from our experiences. That’s why we can help you filter the good from the average, the acceptable from the extortionate, the rational from the ludicrous and help you decide what will work for your particular organization, in your unique situation, for your specific needs with your specific budget.
